Data Privacy Statement And Consent Form

In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), the Intellectual Property Association Philippines (IPAP) is required to inform you that the personal information that you will supply below shall be promptly processed for such purposes as are necessary to successfully implement the 76th Council Meeting of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA 2024). The law also requires IPAP as personal information controller and processor, to furnish you with the following information:

1. Personal information to be processed includes the following:
   • Full Name
   • Designation
   • Organization
   • Address
   • Postal Code
   • Telephone Number
   • Mobile Number
   • E-mail Address
   • Dietary Requirement
   • Personal Information of Accompanying Family Persons and Accompanying Office Personnels
2. Personal information collected will be processed to enable IPAP and TeamAsia to manage your registration, invitation, and attendance for the event.
3. The personal information that you will supply through this form shall be collected, recorded, organized and stored into a participant database, subject to updating or modification to maintain data accuracy, and retrieval, use and consolidation as necessary for the purposes stated above.
4. Recipients of the personal information shall be limited to the following:
   • Authorized representatives from IPAP
   • TeamAsia, the official event organizer
5. IPAP is the personal information controller and processor. Its authorized representatives from the association and the official event organizer, TeamAsia, may be contacted through secretariat@apaa2024.com.
6. The personal information processed will be held by IPAP and TeamAsia, until such time as the 76th Council Meeting of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA 2024) is concluded.
7. As a data subject, you have the right to access your personal information, make corrections to the same, and lodge a complaint for any violation of the Data Privacy Act through TeamAsia’s Data Protection Officer: dpo@teamasia.com.
